Big Hugs and kisses for you, Judi and Ira! Love the new website with the song clips-Listening to some of the songs remind me of the great days at the World Famous Palomino Nightclub ‘In The Valley’. I especially got a big smile on my face thinking of all the great times so long ago! I remember we were all together, going for late night dinner when the news came of Elvis’ passing. Ira was so very popular and played to pretty much packed house every night. He also treated everyone with the upmost respect and was a friend to all who crossed his path; didn’t matter if it was a top shelf entertainer or the local resident, he treated everyone equal. A Showman, bar none and a genuine human being with an extraordinary talent.
God bless you Ira…and Thank You for many years of exceptional songwriting, singing and just being you 🙂

ps: A Shout out to Danny Newman-Hey! Still doing your Elvis impression? lol 🙂

Reenie? Remember me, I was Linda Banks and if I am remembering right, we had some fun in Yakima when I was there to see the guys at the Jade Room and later on you stayed at my place on Angle Lake! Remember? Seems like a hundred years ago and yet only yesterday! 🙂 Are you still in Washington?

Hi to Ira and Judi. Just received the sad news of Gerry Andal’s passing. He had heart surgery last week (Weds, I think) and then went into cardiac arrest on Friday and passed away. What a terrible shock! I don’t know if Pat Roberts or Lee Rodgers would have emailed Ira so wanted to let you know. Also, please get this message to Danny for me. I don’t have his email. 🙂 Thanks. Love to you both. Linda

Hi Ira, So glad to read that you will be headlining the 26th Anniversary of the Cou ntry Music Pioneer Show in Augusta in April. Wish we were going to be in Me as we would love to attend. Have been to many of your shows in Me. We were neighbors of Joan and Al for many yrs. until we moved to Fl. Just found a couple of cassettes of yours last wk. and they brought back alot of good memories. Have a great show in Augusta and maybe we’ll catch up with you somewhere on the road.

Just hoping your schedule will allow you to attend our 60th class reunion of Norway High School next year. I would expect it would be on the 16th or 23rd of July. Sorry I missed you at the Spur.
